Here you can feel free to explore any issues that may be troubling you; supporting you to gain new insight and empowering you to move forward.

Some of the reasons people may seek counselling are:

Anxiety

Bereavement

Birth Trauma

Depression

Low mood

Antenatal Depression

Postnatal Depression

Family issues

Feeling ‘stuck’, perhaps in work or relationships

Stress

Trauma

These are just a few examples, there are many more reasons why a person might seek support; therefore please phone me on 07513 555919 where we can discuss your situation and needs, or if you prefer, please email me at kirstinturnercounselling@gmail.com.

I have been a  volunteer counsellor for two years, between 2016 and 2018; supporting individuals and families with addiction issues. Therefore, I have experience of working with clients who themselves are suffering with addiction, or clients who have a family member struggling with addiction.

I set up in Private Practice in 2018, and have worked with clients who have sought support for many different reasons or diagnoses.

Although I do not specialise in a particular issue, I do have a special interest in women who may be suffering with their mental health during and after pregnancy, and those who feel traumatised from the labour experience and are in need of support to discuss and process the experience.

Although I have mainly worked with adults, I do also work with teenagers from the age of 16.
